All sanitary pads are not biodegradable.

All standard sanitary pads contain the following materials:

  • Wood Pulp  (Cellulose Fibers)
  • Thermo Bonded Non woven
  • PolyEthylene Film
  • Release Paper
  • Glue
  • LLDPE – Linear Low Density Poly-Ethylene (50 gsm)

Of these materials, the following materials make the sanitary pads not biodegradable:

  • Poly-Ethylene Film
  • Glue
  • LLDPE
